Titan’s first joint research article of 2022:
‘Experimental Investigation of the Tensile Response of Stiff Fiberglass Geogrid Under Varying Temperatures‘ published in the International Journal of Geosynthetics and Ground Engineering is now available!
The testing was conducted in the temperature range from −30 to 40 °C and we’re proud to pioneer research in this extreme temperature range.
This is the outcome of our continuing R&D project through NSERC, led by our very own Sam Bhat, in collaboration with McGill University’s GeoGroup.

CHALLENGE: Finding a long-term solution for culvert end erosion protection that was cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and capable of being mowed over. More details in the full case study.
SOLUTION: Titan proposed ShoreFlex® as a permanent erosion prevention system over traditional rip rap. ShoreFlex® is a permanent vegetative system that can be installed to shield channel side slopes and beds, pipe and culvert inlets/outlets, shoreline, and almost any place you may have hydraulic erosion protection needs where vegetation is required.
