NEW OWNERSHIP, NEW ALBERTA LOCATION, NEW OPERATIONS IN THE U.S. & MORE STAFF GROWTH!
Titan is pleased to make a series of exciting announcements to kick-off 2018. Company co-founders Brett Burkard and Kelly Sitarz have recently welcomed Juice Lambert, VP of Sales, and Derek Bishop, Chief Financial Officer, to the Titan Ownership Group.
“Juice has been part of our Senior Management team for the last 7 years, and Derek for 2 years now. Both bring different strengths to our team and have played significant roles in our company’s growth and on-going success. Kelly and I could not be happier to have them on board now as partners,” said CEO Brett Burkard.
Building on this momentum we are also thrilled to announce that our Alberta office, which looks after our Western Operation, is soon moving to a larger, more accessible facility in Leduc. Effective February 10, Titan’s Alberta branch we will be located at 6803 – 42 Street, Leduc, Alberta. This move will better serve our clients and allow for further staff growth. We are currently recruiting for a number of positions in Alberta and encourage interested candidates to visit the careers page on our website at https://titanenviro.com/careers for more information and application details.
On a similar note, Titan USA’s head office has also recently moved locations in Houston to accommodate a new fabrication plant for pre-fabricated geomembranes which will now be Titan USA’s main focus. Now located at 15847 Kimberlee Street in Houston, Titan USA’s new operation is being managed by industry veteran, Tonya Switalski, who has been working in the business for over 25 years. Tonya is supported by plant staff and a local sales team focusing on Western & Central U.S., as well as a new Sales Manager for the Eastern Region, Greg Scales, who joined Titan USA earlier this week. Also an industry veteran, Greg brings an abundance of experience and technical expertise and can be reached at 828-551-0795 or greg.scales@titanenviro.com.
“The launch of our fabrication plant in Houston brings new opportunities for our U.S. Operation. We saw an opportunity to diversify and fill a market need and went for it,” explains Burkard. “Staffing was a critical piece of the puzzle with this new venture and we are happy to have recruited a solid team with the knowledge and strength to position us for success. I am excited about what lies ahead.”
While remaining focused on developing a strong corporate culture, Titan also looks forward to following in the footsteps of influential and industry-leading companies such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and Proctor & Gamble to name a few, with the upcoming roll out of its Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP). This plan will provide employees an opportunity to own small stocks in the company and share in its overall growth and success.
“We are continually striving to remain vibrant and create the kind of company where people want to work,” notes Burkard. “Not only will ESOP provide an avenue for staff to build long-term wealth but it will also instill a higher sense of pride and commitment to our overall goals making us a stronger company.”
