WickGrid™

WickGrid™ is a novel geogrid composite combining a high-stiffness, open-aperture polymeric geogrid with a unique non-woven geotextile possessing wicking properties in all directions. The wicking mechanism is primarily based on the proprietary microstructure and treatment of the non-woven geotextile component. WickGrid™ allows for structural stability while transporting water at zero gradient and thereby reducing pore pressure accumulation.
Patent is pending in Canada and USA.

- The wicking geotextile component of the WickGridTM possesses hydrophilic and forced wetting properties, facilitating high wet front movement and preventing water pooling.
- Manages and homogenizes the moisture content over peat and other very weak, saturated and variable subgrades.
