E-Fence™ by ERTEC is a patented, durable, and cost-effective solution for wildlife exclusion and directional control in areas where special-status small vertebrates are present. Designed for active construction sites and fragmented habitats, it prevents entry into work zones, guides movement, and defines survey perimeters.
Constructed from a rigid polymer matrix, the system is extruded for enhanced strength and long-term durability. Its continuous-strand design resists separation and stretching, preventing entrapment—even by persistent intruders. Unlike metal mesh, it eliminates laceration risks, and unlike mono-filament plastic mesh, it maintains structural integrity under demanding site conditions.
E-Fence™ will not entangle or entrap wildlife and will not corrode or decay like metal, cloth, or geotextile barriers. Its high-open-area design allows wind and stormwater to pass through, reducing washouts and enabling installation across slopes and contours without undermining. Non-toxic and environmentally safe, it continues to perform even after prolonged exposure to UV, harsh weather, and saltwater.
