Titan’s Dr. Grid, Sam Bhat, was invited to speak at the 14th Annual Global Joint Seminar on Geo-Environmental Engineering (GEE) hosted by Concordia University the week of May 21, in Montreal. With a true passion for geosynthetics, Sam presented on the strategy and results of a rail track project using Titan’s TE-BXC geogrid composite to support the track over weak, saturated clay subgrade. The lecture was attended by students and industry experts from across Canada and Asia.
The objective of GEE is to provide an international forum for the exchange of ideas and recent advances in the field of geo-environmental engineering, and to give students and young researchers the opportunity to present their works to an international and expert audience. GEE is held annually and has taken place in Japan, Korea and France. Titan extends a warm thank you to Concordia University for the opportunity to be a part of this year’s event.
