On Friday, October 10, 2014, Titan staff had the privilege of joining representatives from the Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre for the much anticipated release of a rehabilitated Bald Eagle.
Based in Ile des Chenes since 2008, Wildlife Haven is a private, non-profit wildlife rehabilitation organization that has been serving the Province of Manitoba for 25 years. Originally operating out of the backyard of its volunteers, today Wildlife Haven has grown into a full-fledged organization with an administration building, wildlife hospital, and numerous cages and enclosures. Titan is proud to have played a supporting role in this by donating labour and materials towards their existing facility.
Wildlife Haven receives approximately 10,000 public inquiries and 1700 animals for rehab and release each year, and also provides educational services to the public to enhance the survival of Manitoba’s wildlife.
